Hydraulic Whelping Box®.
The Hydraulic Whelping Box® will easily adjust to a level comfortable for you. You can sit on a chair and assist your puppies without breaking your back. Just use the hydraulics to raise the whelping box to a comfortable height beside your chair and sit down while feeding. Feeding newborn puppies has never been easier. The wooden floor of the Hydraulic Whelping Box® has a rubber liner protecting the wood frame of the box from moisture. The box sits 9" above the floor on the hydraulic cart which has 4 wheels for easy movement. Wooden or plastic steps can be ordered separately.

After feeding is done just release the hydraulics by the handle and the box will slowly come down. The hydraulic system can lift up to 500 lbs. After 3 weeks, when the puppies start to eat on their own you can place the whelping box on the floor and attach the weaning pen for more running space.
A modified version of the Hydraulic Whelping Box®, the Hydraulic Recovery Box, has the puppy rails removed and is sized to fit through door openings so they can be used not only by veterinary clinics, but also in animal shelters, pet hospitals or any animal institution. The Hydraulic Recovery Box can be in low position for the transport, then lift up to a high position for when the dog needs assistance.
